The Girls' Round is not just a fitness race. The Tjejrundan-Girls' Round provides an opportunity to run with other women, gain better health and community. By participating in the race, you not only get the opportunity to improve your fitness, but also to make new friendships. It's not about winning - it's about the joy of movement and having fun together.

Whether you want to run, jog or walk, you can participate. The distance is 6.5 km and there are 3 different starting groups: run-jog-loose&walk, so everyone can join in. And after the finish line, there will be a picnic for all participants with salad, bread, drinks and fruit.

Tjejrundan - The Girls' Round creates a safe and inspiring environment. Run 6.5km together with other women on a flat and traffic-free course around Lake Bodträsket. Start and finish at Bränna Strand in central Boden. After the finish there will be a picnic for all participants.

How do I register for the race?

Registration is open between April 1 and July 1. If you register latest June 1, a T-shirt is included in the entry fee.

You can easily register via our website www.tjejrundan.se, where you will find the registration form. Registration is at the top and bottom of this page. *Later registration at the Start & Finish area at Bränna Strand on July 4 at 10:00 - 13:30.

T-shirt when registering by June 1st

When registering between April 1st - June 1st, a T-shirt is included, so we will ask you what size T-shirt you want.

We also want to know what *salad you want for your picnic, you can choose between Greek salad, Caesar salad or Vegan.

Course route

Is 6.5 km of walking & cycling paths and car-free/closed streets around Lake Bodträsket.

Start & Finish at Bränna Strand next to the Örat stage in central Boden. The course route follows the walking & cycling path along Lake Bodträsket until Sundbrovägen. Then you follow Sundbrovägen until Svartbjörnsbyn and then further along Stationsgatan, right towards Killingholmen and further past Prästholmen and the finish line.

How much does it cost to participate?

The participation fee is 300.00 SEK incl. T-shirt if you register latest June 1st. Salad of your choice for everyone who registers latest June 21st.

You can pay by card or Swish.

Registration opens April 1st and closes July 1st. *Later registration is possible at the Start and Finish area at Bränna Strand on July 4th between 10:00 - 13:30.

Number plate distribution

Number-paper and T-shirt distribution at Team Sportia-Boden (Kungsgatan 43) Thursday 2 July and Friday 3 July between 10.00 - 18.00.

On Saturday 4 July there will be number plate and T-shirt distribution at Start & Finish at Bränna Strand between 10.00 - 13.30.

Picnic

After the finish line there will be a Picnic for all participants. Picnic is included in the entry fee and consists of a *salad of your choice (Greek, Caesar or Vegan) that you order when registering for the race. It also includes bread, drinks and fruit.

Changing rooms, showers and parking

Changing rooms and showers are in the Hildursborg sports hall, about 500 m from Start&Mål. Open between 12:00 - 18:00.

Unfortunately, there is no specific parking for the Girls' Round.

Is the race suitable for beginners?

Yes, the Girls' Round is open to all levels, from beginners to experienced runners. There are 3 different starting groups, depending on your level: running, jogging or lounging & walking. So it's suitable for everyone who wants to join.

Can I run with friends or family?

Absolutely! Tjejrundan-The Girls' Round is a perfect opportunity to run together with family, friends and *work.

What is Tjejrundan?

Tjejrundan is a fitness race in Boden for all women. For better health and community, where you run together.

Who is organizing?

BBK Handboll is organizing Tjejrundan-the Girls' Round in collaboration with Wikmax and Boden Event. The entire registration fee of 300 SEK goes to BBK Handboll, so they can continue their activities. Sponsors and partners make it possible to carry out the Girls' Round.

Depot and finish line

After 3.5km there will be a depot where there is water and sports drink. And after the finish line there is also water and sports drink. Then you can also pick up your picnic bag with salad, drink, bread and fruit.
